CM is quite concerned about the security of the state as ‘Madhya Pradesh Day’ is near

BHOPAL: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently asked commissioners and collectors to check black-marketing of fertilizers, seize spurious mawa by organizing campaigns and ensure proper security for firecracker shops.

Chouhan was talking to them through videoconferencing ‘Parakh’.

The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh Day will be celebrated in entire state to mark foundation day of the state on November 1. Month-long functions will be held throughout the state.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan instructed for systematic distribution of fertilisers and stern action against black-marketers. During a meeting with Union chemicals and fertilisers minister Shrikant Jena, the chief minister had urged to give additional quota of DAP and mixed fertilisers to the state and the Union Government has accepted.

He said that the process of replacing transformers has been changed and now a transformer can be replaced on deposit of 25% amount in place of 50%.

Also instructed Collectors and SPs to ensure effect check over atrocities on women, saying people responsible for such acts will not be spared.

The Chief secretary Avani Vaish sought detailed information from Collectors and Commissioners on Sparsh Abhiyan, MNAREGA implementation, preparations for paddy procurement, supply of uniforms and bicycles to students and development of necessary facilities for students.
