CM Shri Chouhan launches web broadcasting service of Radio Azad Hind
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched web broadcasting service of Radio Azad Hind here today. Radio Azad Hind, which is dedicated to freedom movement-self-rule of the country, the unique and first community radio, was started on March 25, 2012. Now, its online service will be available daily from 7 am to 10 pm.
Congratulating listeners on the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that this radio has entered a new era from today. It has carved its distinguished identity within a short time.
Minister of State for Tourism and Culture Shri Surendra Patwa, Principal Secretary Culture Shri Manoj Shrivastava and Director Culture Smt. Renu Tiwari were also present on the occasion.
Under the campaign for creating mass awareness about innumerable freedom fighters and unknown warriors of India’s freedom movement, Radio Azad Hind is the first community radio station in the country, which took the initiative to include contents of over 170 community radio stations in its broadcasts. Radio’s website was also developed to globalise it through word space, internet etc
