Benefit of 6th Pay Scale to Adhyapak cadre from January 1

Bhopal. A meeting of the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today sanctioned 6th Pay Scale to Adhyapak cadre with effect from January 1, 2016. Its cash payment will be made from April 1, 2016. Arrears from January 1 to March 31, 2016 will be made in financial year 2016-17. Pay band 9300-34800 and grade pay 3600 has been sanctioned for senior Adhyapaks, pay band 9300-34800 and grade pay 3200 to Adhyapaks and pay band 5200-20200 and grade pay 2400. This sanction has been given with the provision of DA equal to government servants and hikes given from time to time from January 1, 2016

Football Day-boarding New Scheme, Mhow-Indore

The cabinet decided to start Football Day-boarding New Scheme, Mhow in Indore. A number of talented footballers will be able to represent the state with success in various national and international level competitions after undergoing coaching under the scheme. Along with coaching, free playing/sports kits, sports materials, competition exposure, medical facilities, insurance etc will also be provided to players. New posts of chief and assistant coach will also be filled through outsourcing to conduct the scheme. This is estimated to entail Rs. 76 lakh 27 thousand expenditure.

Madhya Pradesh Aquatic and Triathlon Academy, Hoshangabad

The cabinet sanctioned opening of Madhya Pradesh Aquatic and Triathlon Academy, Hoshangabad. Boys and girls from rural areas will be imparted coaching of swimming at the academy. Players will be provided free lodging and nutritious diets at the academy. New posts of chief and assistant coach, computer operator-cum-clerk, lifeguard and peon will also be filled through outsourcing to conduct the scheme. This is estimated to entail Rs. 4 crore 82 lakh 45 thousand expenditure.

Madhya Pradesh Athletics Academy New Scheme at Bhopal

The cabinet sanctioned starting of Madhya Pradesh Athletics Academy New Scheme at Tatya Tope Stadium, Bhopal. New posts of chief and assistant coach, assistant physiotherapist, video analyzer, massasieur and computer operator-cum-clerk will also be filled through outsourcing to conduct the scheme. This is estimated to entail Rs. 5 crore 32 lakh 74 thousand expenditure.

5 irrigation projects

The cabinet sanctioned Rs. 6452 crore 96 lakh 68 thousand for 5 irrigation projects. Of this, Rs. 389 crore 77 lakh as been sanctioned for Chanderi minor irrigation project for 20 thousand hectare Rabi irrigation and Rs. 360 crore 15 lakh 68 thousand for Garoth minor irrigation project for 21 thousand 400 hectare Rabi irrigation. Rs.68 crore 15 lakh 68 thousand has been sanctioned for Halon irrigation project for 2900 hectare Rabi irrigation and Rs. 3866 crore 34 lakh for special rehabilitation package of Mohanpura multi-purpose major irrigation project. Revised administrative sanction of Rs. 1768 crore 50 lakh has been sanctioned for lump sum grant package for Bansujara major irrigation project for 75 thousand hectare Rabi season irrigated area.

 Other decisions

The cabinet decided to set up office of Head of Department at Directorate of Religious Trusts and Endowment for important works like renovation of temples under the department, construction of Dharmshalas, fixation of Sewadars’ honorarium etc. For set-up of the office, 15 posts have been sanctioned including one post each of Director, Joint Director, Deputy Director, assistant engineer, accounts officer, sub engineer, assistant grade-1 & 2, stenographer and stenotypist. Two posts each of Assistant Director and assistant grade-3 have also been sanctioned. Outsourcing posts of one data entry operator and 6 posts of peon.

The cabinet sanctioned upgradation of 3 middle schools to high schools at Jhaunsar, Hameergarh and Kardawad. For this, 30 new posts have been sanctioned.

The cabinet also sanctioned establishment of 2 girl pre-matric hostels in Jhabua and Alirajpur districts, upgradation of 3 middle schools, increase of seats in 2 hostels and establishment of one sports council.

The cabinet decided to extend service period of advisor in public-private partnership cell in Directorate of Institutional Finance for 2 years.
