CM meets industrialists and Ambassadors

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan had one-to-one meetings with industrialists, Ambassadors of various countries and senior officers of Central departments in Delhi today with a view to giving a new fillip to industrialisation in the state. Industries Minister Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia and Chief Secretary Shri Anthony de Sa accompanied the Chief Minister. It may be mentioned that Global Investors Summit will be held in Indore in October 2014. Today’s meetings will prove to be milestones in success of the summit. Shri Chouhan had one-to-one meetings with Chairman of Hindustan Power Project Pvt. Ltd. Shri Ratul Puri, Vice-Chairman of Toyota Kirlosker Motor Shri Vikram Kirlosker, Managing Director of Dalmia Cement Shri Punit Dalmia, Executive Director of Fortis Health Care Shri Malvinder Singh, CMD of Bhilwara Group Shri Jhunjhunwala, Chairman of R.J. Corporation Shri Ravi Jaipuria and Chairman of I.T.C. Ltd. Shri Y.C. Deveshwar and held detailed discussions on investment possibilities. The Chief Minister invited all industrialists to invest in Madhya Pradesh. After the meetings, Shri Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh will be developed as advanced and progressive state till year 2018. Madhya Pradesh government is striving to give it a concrete shape. He informed that Madhya Pradesh holds immense investment potential. He said that Madhya Pradesh has maintained 20 percent agriculture growth rate for the last 3 years. A network of industries will be laid in the state to provide good employment opportunities to youths. Shri Chouhan said that new thermal power plants have been set up in the state due which Madhya Pradesh will not only become self-sufficient in power sector, but will also supply power to other states. Shri Chouhan informed that several industrialists have evinced keen interest in investing in health and education sectors apart from cement, textiles, automobile and food processing sectors in Madhya Pradesh. Shri Chouhan informed that some industrialists have also showed interest in opening universities in the state. During one-to-one meetings with Ambassadors, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan invited Ambassadors of Australia, Mexico, Sweden, France, Spain, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and New Zealand for investment in Madhya Pradesh. Senior officers of Central and State Governments were specially present on the occasion.
