Nearly 40 children of ‘AIM for Seva’ student home in Indore suddenly fell ill on Wednesday morning and were admitted to hospital.

Salil Bhargava, Superintendent of Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital was quoted as saying by IANS that children, most of them aged between to 10 to 14 years, were suffering from cough and cold.

He said that some of them started vomiting all of a sudden in the morning and were subsequently brought to the hospital where they were given first aid.

“All the children, though under observation, are out of danger,” he said.

It may be mentioned that ‘AIM for Seva’ is a charitable trust that is running student homes in Indore. It provides complete care to children from the lesser privileged families in the tribal and rural areas.
