State to witness weather changes in 2 to 3 days

Bhopal: Moisture incursion from Arabian Sea and WD effects would induce weather changes within next two to three days, claimed Met department. The effects would form Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Rajasthan and Gujarat.

The State is receiving moist winds from Maharashtra, which would help in inducing change in the weather conditions. By Wednesday evening, change in the weather condition would be witnessed.Cloudy conditions would prevail in the next 24 hours and there are possibilities of rains. Light showers would be witnessed at several places in the State.

The system formed would bring abrupt changes. The movement of the system would become weak and the activity would stall within two days of the change. On Tuesday, weather conditions were hot and humid in the city as the day temperature was recorded at 36.1 degrees Celsius. The night temperatures have started soaring high and have been witnessed above 20 degrees Celsius at several places.

For the past three days, the city recorded night temperature was recorded above 20 degrees Celsius. Among the major cities, Gwalior and Indore recorded day temperature above Bhopal. Gwalior recorded day temperature at 36.9 degrees Celsius while Indore recorded the highest day temperature among the major cities at 37.2 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures across all the divisions witnessed increase on Tuesday. Ratlam recorded day temperature at 40 degrees Celsius, which was the highest day temperature in the State on Tuesday. Raisen recorded the lowest night temperature at 15 degrees Celsius. The city recorded day temperature slightly lower from Monday at 36.1 degrees Celsius while there was a slight increase witness in the night temperature at 20.4 degrees Celsius.
