New Delhi: The CBI carried out a series of raids at the assets belonging to Former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, including his home on Saturday morning.
The raids have been conducted in connection with the alleged inconsistencies in the allotment of land in Manesar during his tenure as the chief minister.
The CBI has reportedly also raided several officers across Delhi, Chandigarh, Rohtak, and Gurugram. It has been alleged that Hooda had allotted 400 acres of land in Manesar at very low prices thus incurring huge losses to the government.
The former chief minister has allegedly played the pivotal role in facilitating illegal land deals in Haryana, including the one involving Robert Vadra.
