Madhya Pradesh to be pioneer state in world during next 5 years

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 143 development works costing over Rs. 151 crore at Shahganj in Sehore district today. The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is travelling on a new path of development. So many public welfare and development schemes are being implemented and Madhya Pradesh will be pioneer state in the world during next 5 years. He said that state government has undertaken significant works for integrated development of all sections of society without any distinction.

Laying foundation stone for Rs. 75 crore 41 lakh group piped water scheme for 74 villages, the Chief Minister said that now not a single village in Budhni area will be without piped water supply scheme. He said that state’s image and people’s lot will be improved by using every single drop of Narmada water. He informed that Narmada water will reach Kshipra river by next month and Narmada-Kshipra Link Project will become a reality. The Chief Minister also inaugurated 33.40 km long Maliwayan-Veerpur road costing Rs. 39 crore and laid foundation stones for 142 works costing about Rs. 231 crore 87 lakh including 13 works costing Rs. 6 crore from MLA’s Fund. At village Dungariya, he inaugurated newly constructed 132 KV power sub-station costing Rs. 18 crore 22 lakh.
Smt. Sadhna Singh, MARKFED Chairman Shri Ramakant Bhargava, State Warehousing Corporation’s Chairman Shri Rajendra Singh Rajput, Forest Development Corporation’s Chairman Shri Guruprasad Sharma and large number of villagers were present on the occasion.
