Parents with only one girl child get monthly pension

Bhopal: A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today sanctioned Mukhyamantri Kanya Abhibhavak Pension Yojna for parents who have daughters only. The parents who are not income tax payers and one of the spouses is 60 years of age or above will be eligible for this pension. Such parents will be provided Rs. 500 per month pension each. This will be in addition to old age pension.
The cabinet sanctioned to continue various schemes during the 12th Five-Year Plan period. These include Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension, Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension, National Family Assistance, Social Security Pension, Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojna, Mukhyamantri Mazdoor Suraksha Yojna, scholarship, Aam Admi Beema Yojna and Janshri Yojna.
Office-cum-residence : For land record level reforms, the cabinet sanctioned plan ceiling of Rs. 60 crore for the 12th Five-Year Plan period and Rs. eight crore 42 lakh for Annual Plan 2012-13. Under the scheme revenue inspector and Patwari office-cum-residence buildings will be constructed. For this, provision of Rs. 60 crore has been made for the 12th Five-Year Plan period and Rs. eight crore 42 lakh 20 thousand for Annual Plan 2012-13. Chief Engineer Public Works Department has sent estimate of Rs. 13 lakh six thousand for each 84.28 square meter pre-fabricated structure.
The cabinet decided to allot 11.20 hectare land at village Fatehpur Dobra in tahsil Huzur of Bhopal district for BSF sector headquarters.
Land to Infotech : The cabinet decided to transfer remaining 0.339 hectare out of 10.461 hectare land at village Badiyakeema in Indore to the Information Technology Department for allotting the same to Impacts Infotech (India) Pvt. Ltd. The land will be allotted on 25 percent lease premium on market rates decided by collector rate. The land will be allotted on 99-year lease.
Other decisions:  The cabinet decided to purchase 300 MW power from Messrs Lenco’s power plant and delete Lenco and group companies from state’s blacklist.
•    It was decided to increase number of students from five to ten under the scheme for sending backward class students for higher studies in foreign countries.
•    Sanction was given to create 15 technical posts under Directorate of Aviation as per norms laid down by the Director General Civil Aviation, Government of India and fill up these posts on contractual basis.
