Social activist Abid helps Kuldeep to return to India

UP-based youth was lured to Dubai by an agent promising a job

Bhopal: Social activist from Bhopal, Syed Abid Hussain, helped another Indian citizen to return to the country by requesting help from agencies concerned through social networking site Twitter. Uttar Pradesh-based Kuldeep was lured to Dubai by an agent promising a job a couple of months ago. The agent was also paid Rs 80,000 by Kuldeep’s family.
However, Kuldeep’s struggles started soon after reaching Dubai as he was not given the promised job. He also spent the entire savings he has taken along with him while struggling for a job in Dubai. Kuldeep’s family including father Govind Verma was then informed about Abid and his Twitter campaigns, which have helped several people stuck in foreign countries in the past, by Moeed Alam and Nasim.
Abid was provided with details of Kuldeep, who in turn requested Indian Embassy in Dubai and foreign minister to help Kuldeep by tagging them on Twitter. The Embassy responded by asking Abid to mail details of Kuldeep. On receiving details, the Embassy official contacted Kuldeep and helped him in securing a safe passage to India. It was learnt that Kuldeep reached Lucknow airport on Tuesday.
