CM said, will not allow conversions to go on in MP: Zakir Naik on HUT member’s connection said – will not spare the guilty

 

 

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the vicious cycle of religious conversion will not be allowed to continue in Madhya Pradesh. Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HUT) member Saurabh Rajvaidya said on Zakir Naik’s connection in Jain’s conversion that investigation is on, whoever is guilty will not be spared.

In the state BJP office, the Chief Minister said on the action taken on Hizb-ut-Tahrir – We are going into the depth of the facts that have come to the fore. One thing is clear that love jihad, religious conversions and subsequent terrorist activities, attempts to spread disaffection, we have taken very seriously.

I want to make it clear that neither love jihad will work, we will not allow conversions to continue. We have destroyed SIMI’s network earlier also. Such activities will not be tolerated at any cost. Investigation is going on. Inquiry is being done. ATS is working closely with Central Agencies. Home Minister Narottam Mishra said, after listening to Zakir Naik’s speech, Saurabh had decided to convert. The one who called Zakir Naik a peacemaker should answer this.

Satyaprakash Sakhwar, who was the BSP MLA from Ambah seat in Morena district, joined the BJP on Tuesday. He had joined Congress from BSP. Sakhwar took membership in the state BJP office in the presence of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP State President VD Sharma and Organization General Secretary Hitanand Sharma.

Satyaprakash Sakhwar from Ambah Assembly has contested thrice in 2008, 2013 and 2018 on BSP ticket. Once in 2013, he won by 11307 votes. He got a total of 49307 votes. He defeated Banshilal Jatav, who was then a BJP minister. He lost badly in the 2018 assembly elections on a BSP ticket and stood at number four. Left the BSP and joined the Congress in the 2020 by-elections, but lost the election to BJP’s Kamlesh Jatav (left the Congress with Scindia and went to the BJP) in the by-elections. Within three years, Sakhwar became disillusioned with the Congress and joined the BJP.
