CM’s mother passes away after prolonged illness
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s mother died in a private hospital here on Sunday, doctors and officials said.
A State Government statement informed Bindeshwari Baghel, 78 year, died after a prolonged illness and the CM was by her side during her last moment. “She was admitted in Ram Krishna Care Hospital on June 24 after she had suffered a cardiac arrest and breathed her last at 4:45pm,” the hospital’s Managing Director Dr Sandeep Dave informed.
Chhattisgarh Governor Anandiben Patel expressed grief for the departed soul. All the ministerial colleagues of Chief Minister besides Opposition BJP leaders including former Chief Minister Raman Singh have condoled the demise.
The last rites of Bindeshwari Baghel will be performed on Monday at the Bhilai-3.
