First day of Global Investors Summit for small entrepreneurs
Bhopal: The first day of the proposed Global Investors Summit at Indore on October 28 will be for small and medium entrepreneurs.
The General Manager and subordinate officers of the District Trade & Industries Centre, Bhopal have prepared draft of 105 MoUs. These will garner investment worth Rs. 902 crore 30 lakh and provide jobs to over 25 thousand persons. In all, 42 MoUs have been prepared by the General Manager of the District Trade & Industries Centre, Mandideep involving investment to the tune of Rs. 790 crore 52 and jobs to over 7,500 persons.
Thus, total investment in Bhopal and Mandideep will be to the tune of Rs. 1692 crore 82 lakh and 32 thousand 600 persons will get jobs in the industries set up under the MoUs.
The industries with which MoUs will be signed mainly pertain to higher capacity transformers, pesticide formulation, traction motors, architectural, insulated glass, high-pressure pipe, heat exchanger, fin tube, pet bottle and container, re-cycle of A.F metal, software solution & IT, enterprises solution, A.R.C. shut switch gear assembly, solvent extraction plant, edible oil refinery, agriculture implements, solar power, box cottage, synthetic yarn, ice-cream, rice mills, metal statue, T&T steel, straw board, generator set, injection, toughened glass, tractor parts etc.
