Works on to modernise revenue record rooms in 27 districts

Bhopal: Work to modernise tahsil revenue record rooms is going on at a rapid pace in the state. The Revenue Department has started this process in 27 districts by issuing work orders. Of these, work has been started by vendors in 24 districts. Modernisation will lead to safety of records and their copies will be easily made available online to citizens.

Giving this information, Revenue Minister Shri Karan Singh Verma said that these districts include Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Datia, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Khargone, Barwani, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Bhopal, Sehore, Raisen, Hoshangabad, Harda, Jabalpur, Katni, Narsinghpur, Chhidwara, Seoni, Mandla, Dindori and Singrauli. Shri Verma said that revenue record rooms of all tahsils in the state will be modernised.
Shri Karan Singh Verma informed that work of online progress feed has been started in 15 districdt under modernisation scheme. These include Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Shivpuri, Bhopal, Sehore, Raisen, Hoshangabad, Harda, Jabalpur, Katni, Narsinghpur, Seoni, Mandla and Singrauli. Similarly, renovation and electrification works have been completed in 10 districts including Sheopur, Morena, Shivpuri, Bhopal, Sehore, Hoshangabad, Harda, Jabalpur and Seoni. There are 9 districts where works of information technology and non-IT structure have been completed. These districts are Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Bhopal, Sehore, Hoshangabad, Harda, Jabalpur and Seoni.
The Revenue Minister informed that work is nearing completion in 5 districts including Bhopal, Sehore, Hoshangabad, Jabalpur and Seoni. Scanning work is also progressing in these districts.
