Works of public prosecution to be eased: 605 new posts sanctioned

Bhopal. Works pertaining to public prosecution will be eased. The state cabinet has sanctioned 605 posts from state to tahasil level to strengthen field staff of public prosecution.

A meeting of the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan sanctioned 24 posts for Directorate of Public Prosecution, 438 posts for district and 143 posts for tahasil level public prosecution offices.

The 24 posts for Directorate of Public Prosecution include one post each of Joint Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Directors, Assistant Superintendent, steno and accountant, 2 posts each of Personal Assistant, Assistant Grade-1, 4 of Assistant Grade-II, 8 of Assistant Grade-III and 2 posts of peon.

The 438 posts for district level public prosecution offices include 25 posts of Assistant Grade-I, 80 of Grade-II, 252 of Grade-III/Computer Operator, 15 of PCD, 22 of APCD and 44 posts of peon. For tahasil level prosecution offices, 143 posts of Assistant Grade-III/Computer Operator have been sanctioned.

Health sector

The cabinet decided to create 5 posts for ENT Department of Shyam Shah Medical College, Rewa. These include 3 posts of Junior Resident and one each of Speech Therapist and Audiomentrist.

The cabinet decided to create 30 posts for hospital attached to Government Autonomous Homoeopathy College, Bhopal for starting post graduation courses.

Land to Centre for artificial organs manufacturing

The cabinet decided to allot 2 acre land free of cost to Department of Disability Affairs of Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in Manpura tahasil of Ujjain district to establish artificial organs manufacturing plant and other disabled-related works.

New posts for Archaeological Museum, Ujjain

The cabinet sanctioned 18 new posts for newly constructed Archaeological Museum, Ujjain. Besides, permission was also granted to fill 14 other posts through outsourcing.

Government land is allotted on concessional rates to beneficiaries of weaker and low-income groups under Atal Ashray Yojana for development of buildings and plots. The cabinet decided to nominate Minister of State for Urban Development and Environment Shri Lal Singh Arya as member of cabinet committee under the scheme in view of resignation from membership by the then Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya.

The cabinet also decided to ensure payment of 50 percent arrears of Fifth Pay Commission to teachers/employees working in government aided private educational institutions from April 1, 2000 to December 31, 2005. The payment will be made till October 1, 2019.
