Weather like Shimla in Bhopal, Dense fog till 12 o’clock; Difficult to see even 200 meters away

The weather of the capital Bhopal has become like Shimla. Dense fog remained in the city till 12 noon. The situation was such that it was difficult to see 200 meters away. Along with cold winds, it is also raining intermittently. Due to this the entire city has become numb. According to meteorologists, the weather will remain like this for the next 3 days.

The weather of Bhopal has changed even on the third day of the new year. By 8 am the fog was so dense that nothing was visible 50 meters away. By 11 am the fog cleared slightly, but its visibility remained only around 200 meters. The weather will remain like this till evening.

It is raining intermittently

It is also raining intermittently in the city. There was drizzle in the colonies of Kolar Road at 9 am. There was heavy rain for some time in Shahpura area at 10.30 am. Light drizzle occurred in many areas including Bitthan Market, Tulsi Nagar, MP Nagar, Arera Hills.

Demand to arrange bonfire in the city

Congress councilors have demanded lighting of bonfires at various places in the city amid intense cold. Leader of opposition in the corporation Shabista Zaki and councilor Yogendra Singh Guddu Chauhan have also written a letter to the corporation commissioner. He has demanded immediate arrangement of wood for lighting the bonfire.

 

Sun has not come out since morning, people’s troubles increased

There has been no sunshine in the capital since morning. This has happened for the first time this year. There was light sunshine along with fog and clouds in the last 2 days, but till Wednesday afternoon there was no sunshine. Due to this the difficulties of common people have increased. People are shivering from cold.

 

The entire Madhya Pradesh is shivering due to the activation of Western Disturbance. Dense fog is still prevalent in most of the districts. On Wednesday morning, drizzle started in Bhopal, Indore, Sehore, Bhind and Sehore. Light rain also occurred in Indore at midnight. Earlier on Tuesday, light drizzle also occurred in Ashoknagar, Guna and Agar. At the same time, there was dense fog and cold day in Bhopal, Gwalior and Shivpuri.

 

On Wednesday, 18 districts of the state including Bhopal and Gwalior remained under the influence of moderate to dense fog. It rained in 21 districts. According to meteorologists, cold winds will continue to blow in the state till January 15. Light rain may also occur in Gwalior-Chambal division.

 

The weather in the state has changed since the beginning of the new year. Cold winds are blowing and there is also dense fog. The cold wind continued to blow on Tuesday also. Due to this the day temperature has dropped by 1 to 3 degrees.

Light rain in these districts of the state in the last 24 hours

The weather changed in many districts of Madhya Pradesh in the last 24 hours. Light rain or thunderstorm occurred in Bhopal, Bhind, Datia, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Rajgarh, Sehore, Vidisha, Agar, Ujjain, Shajapur, Dewas, Indore, Dhar, Barwani, Khargone, Khandwa, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur. There was heavy rain for some time in Shahpura area after 10 am in Bhopal.

The temperature remained this much in big cities

Talking about big cities of the state, on Tuesday the temperature was recorded at 25.7 degrees in Bhopal, 26.9 degrees in Indore, 27.7 degrees in Jabalpur and 24 degrees in Ujjain. It remained cloudy here the whole day. There was mild sunshine during the day, but the cold winds were chilling.

Shivpuri is the coldest, Khandwa has the highest temperature.

Shivpuri was the coldest in the state on Tuesday. The day temperature here reached 24 degrees. The temperature was 16 degrees in Tikamgarh, 16.4 degrees in Naugaon, 16.6 degrees in Khajuraho and 16.8 degrees in Guna. The mercury remained below 25 degrees in Raisen, Damoh, Satna, Rewa, Sagar, Shajapur, Pachmarhi, Malajkhand and Ratlam. The highest temperature was recorded in Khandwa at 29.8 degrees.
