Vision is to impart good education to children: CM

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday said the core vision of opening Swami Atmanand English Schools was to ensure good education to children from poorest of the poor families.

These children are citizens of the future and the aim is to build their complete personality, he said. They will then take the state to new heights.

He was addressing virtually from here the bhoomi pujan and dedication of infrastructure expansion of seven Atmanand English Medium Schools in Patan Assembly constituency in Durg.

Patan is the Chief Minister’s constituency. The cost of the work is Rs 7.25 crores, an official communication said.

Baghel said the pandemic had disrupted the education system. The children had to take online classes.

From August 2, all 16 Swami Atmanand English schools in Durg district began regular classes.

There are now 172 Swami Atmanand English Schools in the state.
