Villages to become healthy, clean and nourished through better anganwadis: CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the dream of making Madhya Pradesh’s villages healthy, clean and malnutrition-free will be realised through better anganwadis. For the success of Anganwadi Chalo Abhiyan and Bal Swachhta Karyakram, the Chief Minister urged people to cooperate with government in ensuring that every eligible beneficiary gets anganwadi services.
The Chief Minister said that anganwadi centres play important role to strengthen present and future of children and women. Anganwadi centres will play active role if the community comes forward to avail their services. Through it, every health index can be improved speedily.
The Chief Minister has urged people to participate in “Anganwadi Chalo Abhiyan” from November 1 to 19 to help achieve its objectives. He said that anganwadi is your own institution so ensure that every anganwadi opens and closes on time, all eligible beneficiaries reach it and avail all available services and facilities.
He said to ensure developing Model Anganwadis under PPP mode, set in motion process to adopt anganwadis and motivate others for this.
