Two Crore for drinking water in rural areas

Bhopal. The State Government has allocated Rs. 2 crore 28 lakh to 23 districts for making drinking water arrangements in problematic rural areas.
Of this, Rs. 25 lakh each has been allocated to Rajgarh and Ujjain districts, Rs. 35 lakh to Khandwa, Rs. 20 lakh to Damoh, Rs. 5 lakh each to Tikamgarh, Morena, Dewas and Ashok Nagar, Rs. 8 lakh each to Chhindwara and Anuppur, Rs. 10 lakh to Rewa, Rs. 15 lakh to Dhar and Rs. 3 lakh to Gwalior. Similarly, Rs. 6 lakh have been allocated to Mandla district, Rs. 8 lakh to Bhind, Rs. 7 lakh to Sehore, Rs. 4 lakh to Guna, Rs. 7 lakh to Jhabua, Rs. 2 lakh to Burhanpur, Rs. 3 lakh to Mandsaur, Rs. 6 lakh to Shivpuri, Rs. 12 lakh to Shajapur and Rs. 4 lakh have been allocated to Harda district to tackle drinking water problems in rural areas.
