Training of Wakf Officials Gets Underway in Bhopal

Bhopal  —  The first-ever training in Accounts, Auditing and Budgeting for the officers of the State Wakf Boards got underway at the RCVP Norohana Academy of Administration & Management in the state capital on Monday.

The training, an important milestone towards computerization of state Wakf Boards, is being attended by 27 participants from 17 states.

The 29 state Wakf Boards in the country are in-charge of some 3.5 lakh properties registered with them.

Computerisation of records is one of the steps initiated by the Central Wakf Council to help augment the income derived from Wakf properties.
