A meeting of the Central Election Committee was held on Friday at the office of the All-India Congress Committee in Delhi. After this meeting, Kamal Nath said that ‘about 60 seats have been discussed. There will be a meeting again. The Screening Committee meeting will be held soon. State screening Committee will discuss. Only then will the list be finalized. The list will be announced after Shradh. We are moving at that pace so that we can announce our list on the October 15th.

In the meeting, Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Kamal Nath, Randeep Surjewala, Dr. Govind Singh, Omkar Singh Markam were present.

The first list of Congress for the assembly elections may be between 110 and 130 candidates. Candidates for remaining seats will be in the second list. Congress currently has 96 MLAs. Six of these MLAs are suspected to be nominated this time.

Ajab Singh Kushwaha: Ajab Singh Kushwaha, the sitting MLA from Sumavali seat of Morena district, has been sentenced to two years by the court. Serious allegations of fraud in real estate transactions have been leveled against him. In this case, Congress can bet on a new face instead of Ajab Singh.

Panchilal Meda: MLA from Dharampuri seat of Dhar district Panchilal Meda became MLA for the first time in 2008. After ten years in 2018, he again became MLA from Dharampuri seat. His report is not ok in all Congress surveys. In this case, someone else’s face can be replaced in their place.

Shivdayal Bagri: The report of Shivdayal Bagri, the first time MLA from Gunnoor seat of Panna district, did not get good in the survey. So this seat may change.
