State to Have 200 Pradhanmantri Bhartiya Janoushdhi Kendras-Union Minister Shri Anath Kumar

Bhopal. Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers Shri Anath Kumar has announced opening of 200 Pradhanmantri Bhartiya Janoushdhi Kendras in the state at Digi-Dhan fair. He said that a MoU will be signed with Madhya Pradesh for this. He was inaugurating the Digi-Dhan fair held at Bittan Market here today. Series of Digi-Dhan fairs is being started in the state from Bhopal. Later on Digi-Dhan fairs will be organised at Indore, Gwalior,Jabalpur and Dewas. These fairs are being organised with an objective to encourage cashless transactions and to inform about the use of cashless transactions equipments and products.

Shri Kumar said that Madhya Pradesh has become a holy centre (Teerth) for public welfare schemes. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan should lead a delegation on good governance to other states to inspire them. He further mentioned that the CM Shri Chouhan has become the first cashless CM of the country. Madhya Pradesh has become perfect state now which was a sick state 12 years ago. Today Madhya Pradesh tops in the country. The state was conferred with Krishi Karman Award continuously for 4 times. A facility to repay Rs. 90 thousand against a loan of Rs. One lakh is being provided to the farmers. Ninety five percent of Madhya Pradesh has become cashless and has become role model for other states. This all has become possible by the honesty, purity of heart, authentication and commitment to serve people of the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. He has become an icon of public service.

Moreover, Shri kumar said that Bangaluru is considered as Silicon Valley of Asia but now Madhya Pradesh has become the I.T. state. He informed that there is no scarcity of fertilisers in the country. Neem coated urea is easily available. He exhorted people to change their viewpoint and adopt cashless transactions.

Union Minister of State for Health Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste terming the Digi-Dhan schemes as unique schemes said that use of information and technology is increasing in the entire state. Calling the decision of the Prime Minister as revolutionary, he said that it has been welcomed by the poor and honest people.

Make Economy Dynamic by Cashless Transactions: CM Shri Chouhan

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan expressed gratitude towards Shri Ananth Kumar that the prices of fertilisers have not gone up due to his efforts and has stopped the long queue for fertilisers. Shri Chouhan further mentioned that the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has become Global leader. Furthermore, Shri Chouhan said that a person with the passion of patriotism and public welfare like the prime Minister can take historic decision of demonetisation.

Shri Chouhan mentioned that the demonetisation decision was taken to control counterfeit notes, corruption, black money and terrorism. He said that possibilities of corruption can be eradicated by cashless transactions. He informed that 95 percent transactions in the mandis of the state have become cashless. Amount is being transferred into the bank accounts of the farmers directly and the government also get the tax

from the cashless transactions, which is utilised to prepare schemes for the poor. Shri Chouhan mentioned that all the needy person will have housing facility till 2020. Tax on P.O.S. machines has been abolished. He urged the people to participate in the Digital Campaign of the Prime Minister and make economy of the state dynamic. He also administered pledge towards cashless transactions. Institutions which have become totally cashless were honoured on the occasion.

Country’s First E-Wallet “Sahkar Batua” in Cooperative Sector

Country’s first E-Wallet ‘Sahkar Batua’ in the cooperative sector made by the Cooperative Department contributing towards Digital India Campaign was inaugurated on the occasion. Also S.M.S. based platform to provide offline transaction facility to the Bhopal Cooperative Bank was inaugurated.

Shri ananth Kumar drew lottery in the lucky customer scheme under the U.P.I., under which 286 customers of 7 banks were declared winners. Under the Adhaar payment system, Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste drew the lottery and 506 customers of 39 banks were declared lucky winners. CM Shri Chouhan drew Rupay card lucky draw and 14 thousand 198 customers of 266 banks were declared winners.

Shri Nandkumar Singh Chouhan, Former Chief Minister Shri Babulal Gaur, Mayor Shri Alok Sharma, MP Shri ALok Sanjar, MLAs Shri Rameshwar Sharma, Shri Surendranath Singh, Vice President National Payment Corporation Shri Nishith Chaturvedi and Representatives of Banks, Telecommunication Companies, Mobile Wallet Operators, AEPS Sellers, Businessmen, Cooperative Societies, Agriculture Produce Marketing Socities participated in the fair. Moreover, Farmers, Consumers and Traders participated in large number in the fair.
