Special cell to remove hurdles in Mukhyamantri Kaushal Unnayanan Yojana: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed to constitute a special cell to remove hurdles in Mukhyamantri Kaushal Unnayanan Yojana. At a programme held to give away appointment letters to SC youths trained under the scheme, the Chief Minister paid tributes to Bharat Ratna former President late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and dedicated it to his memories. All formalities were dispensed with at the programme. Students, trained youths and guests remembered Dr. Kalam with a heavy heart.

Describing Dr. Kalam as the real gem of India, Shri Chouhan said that he was true son of soil. Future generations would hardly believe that a man like him had ever walked on the earth. He was not an individual, but an entire institution. His inspiring life history will be included in school syllabus. The Chief Minister while remembering Dr. Kalam’s inspiring sentences, said that he always used to say, “Work with dedication. Hurdles are momentary and cannot stand before resolve”.

Shri Chouhan exhorted the students getting jobs after training not to lag behind due to lack of facilities and funds. Work with creativity. Government has made available all facilities for them to move ahead. Giving example of Dr. Kalam, he said that a person becomes great due to his deeds and not money.

The Chief Minister said that skill development training scheme will be improved further. Referring to financial and academic improvement schemes for SC and ST students, the Chief Minister said that the state government will bear their tuition fee in private educational institutions and will give bank loan guarantee to start self-employment projects. Rent of buildings rented by students of villages for studies in cities will also be borne by the state government. He said that a number of measures have been taken like construction of college hostels, increase in hostel seats and sending students for higher studies to foreign countries. Women have been given reservation in education and police jobs. He exhorted young generation to move ahead by working with honesty, dutifulness and dedication. Biggest of hurdles can be overcome through ability, talent, skill and knowledge.

SC, ST Welfare Minister Shri Gyan Singh said that so far 5000 youths have been provided jobs after training. Trained youths Shri Hari Das Ahirwar, Shri Yogesh Dohare, Sushri Ruby Mehra, Sushri Sadhana Jaiswal and Sushri Jaishree Solanki also remembered Dr. Kalam and shared with the Chief Minister experiences of their training.

The Chief Minister gave away appointment letters to 30 who have got jobs after training. Principal Secretary Tribal Welfare Shri B.R. Naidu, Commissioner Tribal Development Smt. Veena Ghanekar and Commissioner SC Welfare Shri J.L. Malpani were also present.
