Small industries to be given every possible assistance

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that every possible assistance will be given to micro and small industries in the state. He said that time of half an hour every month will be fixed for his discussions with micro and small entrepreneurs so that their issues could be solved immediately. Shri Chouhan was holding discussions with representatives of micro and small industries at Mantralaya here today.
Representatives of small industries associations praised the Chief Minister for his far-sighted policies for small industries, creating conducive atmosphere and branding of Madhya Pradesh at national and international levels. They said that Chief Minister’s resolve, vision and style of functioning has given new energy to small industries. The representatives thanked the Chief Minister for announcements made by him in favour of small industries saying that this far-sighted thinking will accelerate pace of industrial development in the state.
The Chief Minister informed that the Chief Secretary will issue notification next week in coordination with all departments and issue orders to simplify rules and procedures. He said that provisions suggested by small industries associations will be included in the policy. He said that measures will be initiated for extension of small industries and making business hurdle-free.
Shri Chouhan said that a major target has been set to provide employment to maximum number of youths by increasing employment opportunities through expansion of small and micro industries. There is no dearth of budget. The state has set a foot forward for creating a new history by laying a network of micro and small industries.
With reference to issues raised by representatives of micro and small industries, the Chief Minister said that industries are also being made partners in efforts for skill augmentation so that they can get skilled manpower as per their requirements.
The Chief Minister urged the delegation to motivate new entrepreneurs to establish industries in view of conducive atmosphere in favour of micro and small industries in the state.
Industries Minister Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia said that micro and small industries have been fully focused. Policymaking process has been accelerated. Strategy has been chalked out to solve problems.
The delegation comprised Chairman of Laghu Udyog Bharti Madhya Pradesh Dr. Nemi Chand Jain, Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Cotton Processing and Traders Association Shri Kailash Agrawal, General Secretary of Madhya Pradesh Small Scale Industries Organisation Shri Vipin Kumar Jain, provincial General Secretary of Laghu Udyog Bharti Shri Sameer Mundara, Chairman of Pithampur industrial association Shri Gautam Kothari and National Secretary of Laghu Udyog Bharti Dr. Ajay Narang.
Chief Secretary Shri Anthony de Sa, Principal Secretary Industries Shri Mohammad Sulaiman, Principal Secretary to CM Shri S.K. Mishra and senior officers of concerning departments were also present on the occasion.
