Skill development centres to be opened in all development blocks

Bhopal: Technical Education Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma has said that skill development centres will be opened in all development blocks in the state. So far, these have been inaugurated in 113 development blocks. In future, there is a scheme to open skill development centres at clusters of 10-12 villages. Shri Sharma was addressing a workshop held by PHD Chamber of Commerce on “Opportunities of setting up enterprises by new entrepreneurs and challenges” here today.
The Technical Education Minister said that positive atmosphere for development of industries has been created in Madhya Pradesh. Youths will have to set up their own industries and businesses by changing mindset of seeking jobs. State Government is providing loan as well as guarantee on it.
He referred to Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana and Mukhyamantri Engineer-Contractor Yojana. It was informed at the workshop that loans worth about Rs. 698 crore have been sanctioned under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana of which Rs. 106 crore loans have been provided. Industries Department representatives informed that the government is going to appoint relationship manager to ensure committed efforts for providing all sanctions to entrepreneurs.
PHD Chamber of Commerce Madhya Pradesh Chapter President Shri Anil Agrawal shared his experiences. Students of engineering, polytechnic and other vocational course who are desirous to set up their self-employed are participating in the workshop.
