Simhastha to show new path to humanity facing ill effects of materialism: CM
Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Simhastha will show a new path to humanity facing ill effects of materialism. At ideological Kumbh during Simhastha at Ujjain, saints and seers will give message of global welfare. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will participate in ideological seminar. Shri Chouhan said that Darshan of saints cannot be achieved without will of Mahakal. The Chief Minister said that he feels privileged and blessed by having Darshan and blessings of Akhadas’ Shri Mahants. The Chief Minister stated this at function where Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad felicitated him at Nirnjani Akhada, Ujjain.
Earlier, President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad Shri Narendra Giriji Maharaj, General Secretary Shri Hari Giriji Maharaj and Shri Mahants of 13 Akhadas felicitated the Chief Minister and expressed gratitude towards him for ensuring large-scale preparations for Simhastha. Shri Chouhan and his wife Smt. Sadhana Singh Chouhan were greeted with garland of Rudraksh beads and shawls. Akhada Parishad also thanked in-charge Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh, School Education Minister Shri Paras Jain and Simhastha Central Committee’s Chairman Shri Makhan Singh.
Shri Narendra Giriji Maharaj said that Simhastha has got underway. Able leadership is required for ensuring success of Mela. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and in-charge Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh are most capable of it. He said that under leadership of the Chief Minister, best ever arrangements have been made for Simhastha this time. Kumbhs are held in other places of the country also, but works of permanent nature are not undertaken at Akhadas. This has been done for the first time at Ujjain. Chandal Yog becomes ineffective where Mahakal dwells. He said that Kumbh is held to ensure that future generations do not forget their values.
Shri Bhupendra Singh said that it is a pleasant coincidence that the Chief Minister is being blessed for Simhastha’s success on the occasion of its start. He said that the Chief Minister had started preparations for Simhastha 4 years ago. He has done global branding of Simhastha.
Shri Hari Giriji Maharaj said that divine powers have selected Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan for success of Simhastha and Shri Narendra Giriji as President of Akhada Parishad.
Simplicity best quality of Chief Minister
Shri Narendra Giriji said that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan is Ambassador of Development. Simplicity is the best quality of Chief Minister. In-charge Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh is also equally simple. If anyone abuses him, his reply is ‘Ji Maharaj’. It is the result of devotion, sacrifice and hard work that the Chief Minister is moving ahead continuously. Shri Narendra Giriji said that our saints and seers started tradition of Simhastha Kumbh. He hoped that Simhastha will be fully peaceful unaffected by Chandal Yog.
Shri Narendra Giriji said that the Chief Minister has invited saints and seers to Simhastha. This is highly laudable. The Chief Minister had visited Nasik for this. This tradition is not found in any other Kumbha in the country.
My life has become blessed today
The Chief Minister said that his life has become blessed today after seeking blessings of saints. Life remains incomplete without Satsang. All are invited to Simhastha and seek blessings of saints. He said that after Simhastha, ancient glory of 7 lakes of Ujjain will be restored.
Shri Mahants of all 13 Akhadas were present on the occasion including Mahant Shri Neelkanth Giri, Shaktigiri, Jayvijay Bharti, Govindanandji, Sudamananadaji, Dayagiri, Udaygiri, Premgiri, Shyamdasji, Maheshwar Dasji, Bhagat Ram Ji, Triveni Das Ji, Gopal Singh Ji, Shivshankar Das Ji, Shyamkishore Das Ji, Dharm Das Ji, Mohan Das Ji and Ravindra Das Ji.
Programme was conducted by Mahant Hari Giriji. Shri Mahant Maheshwar Das Ji proposed a vote of thanks. MPs Dr. Chintamani Malviya and Dr. Satyanarayan Jatia, MLAs Sarvshi Mohan Yadav, Dilip Singh Shekhawat, Bahadur Singh Chouhan, Satish Malviya and Mayor Smt.
