Seven Killed in Hoshangabad Bus Accident

Bhopal  —  Seven people, including two minors, were killed and over two dozen others suffered injuries, when the two buses they were traveling on collided head-on at high speeds near Powarkheda on Nagpur-Bhopal road on Wednesday.

Apart from the two minors the deceased include three women, a police constable and the driver of one of the two buses.

While the injured were admitted to the Hoshangabad district hospital, at least two critically wounded passengers have been shifted to Bhopal for treatment.

One of the buses was on its way to Bhopal from Nagpur while the other was on its way to Betul from Bhopal at the time of the collision.
