Self-Employment to 7 lakh 50 Thousand Youths to be Provided this Year

Bhopal. Chief minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that self-employment will be provided to 7 lakh 50 thousand youths this year. He further mentioned that excellence colleges will be opened in each division. Moreover placement centers will be established in these colleges. Provision to see answer sheets will be included in the Public Service Guarantee Act. He said that the youths of the state should engross themselves in studies and improve their talents; the state government will render them all support. Shri Chouhan was addressing the Youths Convention at Rewa today.

CM Shri Chouhan said that the state government is making vigorous efforts lo link youths with employment. A bank guarantee of Rs. One Crore has been increased to Rs. Two Crore for youths to establish their own enterprises. He mentioned that action is being initiated to provide excellent resources of studies for the youths of the state. Free books to the students of class 1 to 12th , uniforms till 8th class and free cycles are being provided to those students who have schools three kilometer far from their homes. A scholarship of Rs. 5 thousand is being provided to the poor students of General category beside SC, ST and Backward Class category students on securing 60 percent marks in class 12th and after getting admission in Colleges under the Gaon Ki Beti scheme. Shri Chouhan further said that lap top is being provided to the students on securing 85 percent marks in class 12th. Moreover, he informed that all India level institutes of higher education are being opened in the state to facilitate students of the state. Poverty should not hamper the studies of the talented students, therefore the state government has taken a decision to bear the fee in place of their parents. Moreover, free coaching for Public Service and State Service Commission examinations will be provided to the youth of the state, he added.

Shri Chouhan informed that board examinations for class 5th and 8th will be conducted again from next academic session. Semester system will be abolished in the colleges except P.G. and Regular Authority Courses. He said that bank loan from Rs. 10 thousand to Rs. 2 crore will be provided on government guarantee under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udhymi yojna. Fifteen percent subsidy and interest upto 5 percent till 5 years will be borne by the state government. Also Venture Capital Fund of Rs. 100 crore has been made by the government. Under this youths will be helped to form a new company. He administered pledge to the youths not to take intoxicate material, to respect dignity of girls, to protect environment and to plant one sapling each year to make river free of pollution.

Minister for Higher Education Shri Jaibhan Singh Pawaiyya informed that 20 percent syllabus will consist of moral education beside skill development from the next academic session.

Minister for Commerce and Industry Shri Rajendra Shukla said that youths of Vindhya region are energetic and their use will be made in the progress of the region and the state.

Minister of State for Technical Education and Skill Development (Independent Charge) Shri Deepak Joshi informed that the Rajeev Gandhi Proudhgiki Vishwavidhyalaya will conduct examinations in Hindi medium from next academic session. He said that projects worth Rs. 1600 crore will be made for skill development.

CM Shri Chouhan blessed 501 couples under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah and Nikah Yojna. He honoured Mayor Sushri Mamta Gupta with certificate for making Rewa city free of open defecation. After inaugurating the industries set up by the young entrepreneurs, CM Shri Chouhan distributed e-rickshaws to 10 beneficiaries. He also distributed smart phones to the students and lap tops to the disabled students. Shri Chouhan dedicated development works worth around Rs. 220 crore and laid foundation of works worth more than Rs. 5 crore in the programme. He dedicated government polytechnic college and , SC/ST girls hostel buildings, Model Career Center Rewa Vankuiyya road, Katra Kyoti Lalgaon and Mauganj road. He also handed over the appointment letters to the youths in Rozgar Mela on the occasion.

MPs Shri Janardan Mishra, Shri Ganesh Singh, Smt. Riti Pathak, President Jila Panchayat Rewa Shri Abhay Mishra, Chairman Trade Promotion Board Shri Madan Mohan Gupta, MLAs and youths in large number were present on the occasion.
