Scheme will be launched to distribute free of cost medicines

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a scheme will be launched to distribute free of cost medicines to common men. Similarly, Chief Minister’s Drinking Water Scheme will be implemented in every village. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing a one-day dialogue workshop of Jan Abhiyan Parishad here today.

Shri Chouhan exhorted workers to take a resolve for building Madhya Pradesh and work to ensure people’s welfare and engage society in bringing about positive change in villages. He said that industries in every village are necessary for giving fillip to Madhya Pradesh’s economy. United efforts need to be made to ensure that state moves ahead and all necessary basic requirements of state’s people are fulfilled. He exhorted them to contribute in improving villages and create awareness among people about sanitation and greenery in villages. Efforts should also be made to free villages from addiction. They should motivate every village child to go to school. Workers of Jan Abhiyan Parishad should cooperate in effective implementation of State Government’s schemes and start some or other creative work in every village. They should involve society to make Madhya Pradesh developed and prosperous. Service to people is service to God. Swami Vivekananda used to say that service to live God means serving human being is the worship of God. He said that body is the medium of observing all the religions. Western concept is to appease body, whereas in our culture happiness of both body and heart is given importance. The happiness generated by doing good work cannot be expressed in words. Everyone gets true happiness by ensuring others’ welfare.

At the programme, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan unveiled a documentary shot by Jan Abhiyan Parishad. Welcome address was delivered by Jan Abhiyan Parishad Vice-President Dr. Ajay Shankar Mehta while Vice-President Dr. Pramod Pandey proposed a vote of thanks. Jan Abhiyan Parishad’s advisors Shri Ashok Rai, Shri Rajendra Sharma and Shri Raghavendra Gautam were also present on the occasion.
