Scale New Heights with Self Confidence, Healthy Body and Sharp Mind

Bhopal. Group Surya-Namaskar was performed in the entire state on the occasion of Swami Vivekanand Birth Anniversary ‘Rashtriya Yuva Diwas’ today. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan performed Surya-Namaskar and Pranayam in the morning at the campus of Local Government Subhash Higher Secondary Excellence School with the students.

Shri Chouhan garlanded the picture of Swami Vivekanand and recalled virtue. Recollecting the ideals of Swami Vivekanand, Shri Chouhan said that human body possesses everlasting powers and energy. Human beings can do impossible works easily. He called upon the students to have self confidence. Always be filled with self confidence and scale new heights with healthy body and sharp mind.

CM Shri Chouhan said that Swami Vivekanand has taught us not to spent life meaningless but life is meant to be led to undertake great works. Moreover, he again urged the students to play a lot, be healthy and study. No hindrance will come in the way of education. Praising the initiative of the School Education department to welcome the guests with books in place of bouquet, Shri Chouhan said that it will develop the attitude of inquisitiveness.

Describing the benefits of Surya-Namaskar, Shri Chouhan said that yoga is a collection of activities. He further mentioned that the Indian Saints have presented the Surya-Namaskar before the people after deep comprehension and contemplation of 1000 years. It is to be highlighted that Surya-Namaskar and Pranayam is a part of a Youth Policy of the state.

The programme was organised by School Education Department. Minister for School Education Kunwar Vijay Shah, Minister of State for School Education Shri Deepak Joshi and Chairman State Child Rights Protection Commission Dr. Raghvendra Sharma also participated in the group Surya-Namaskar and Pranayam. They performed Bhastrika and Bhanbhri Pranayam. Moreover, a scripture of historical Chicago speech of Swami Vivekanand was recited before the students on the occasion.
