Rs. 33.51 crore for 12 bridges
Bhopal. Construction of 12 bridges has been sanctioned in ten districts of the Madhya Pradesh. They will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 33.51 crore. Recommendation to release fund was made on the initiative of Public Works Minister Shri Nagendra Singh by local Finance Committee chaired by Principal Secretary Shri K.K. Singh.
Rs. 535.52 lakh has been sanctioned for two bridges in Satna including one over Barua River on Railway State Uchehra-Maihar Road costing Rs. 352.52 lakh and another over Satna River on Barethiya-Umarhat-Masanha Road costing Rs. 183 lakh.
Rs. 303.32 lakh has been sanctioned for two bridges in Rewa including one over Tamas River on Beerkham-Bhelauri Baghra Road costing Rs. 273.31 lakh and another over Jhiriya Nullah in Rewa city costing Rs. 30.01 lakh.
Similarly, Rs. 552.02 lakh has been sanctioned for large bridge on Ashirward Hospital to Cheedakheri Road in Sonkuchh of Dewas district, Rs. 454.17 lakh for high-level bridge over Pench River on Charaikalan to Darbai Road in Chhindwara, Rs. 125.48 lakh for bridge over Timran River on Neelkachhar-Dhankot-Mardanpur Road in Sehore district and Rs. 206.44 lakh for construction of bridge over Piliyakhal Nullah on Ujjain-Pingleshwar Road in Ujjain district.
Rs. 318.79 lakh has been sanctioned for bridge over Gambhir River at village Gawli Palasia on Gawli Palasia-Kailod Road in Indore district, Rs. 375.31 lakh for bridge over Sukta River on Dhoolkot-Itaria Road in Burhanpur district, Rs. 162.93 lakh for high-level bridge over Bainak (Joodi) River at village Ganj Barkhera on Phutera-Magraun Road in Damoh district and Rs. 317.06 lakh has been sanctioned for construction of high-level bridge over Bankur River on Satajana-Rahatkot Road in Khargone district.
