Railway over bridges and under bridges to be constructed to ensure smooth traffic
BHOPAL: To ensure smooth movement of road traffic 36 over and under bridges will be build by Madhya Pradesh State Road Development Corporation.
The expenses of the construction will be borne by Railway Department. Around Rs. 1200 crore is estimated to be spent on these bridges and the bridges will be built by using PPP mode. The government is feasibility reports of the proposed railway over-bridges and under-bridges.
The level crossing included in these 36 bridges are level crossing number 231 on Itarsi-Bhopal Road, level crossing number 240 of Obaidullahganj town, number 247 at Misrod on National Highway-12 and level crossings number 287 and 300 on Vidisha-Gulabganj-Basoda.
