Provide results of ITI exams within a month
Bhopal: Conduct ITI exams on time and provide results positively within a month. Chalk out a scheme to modernise ITIs. This was directed by Technical Education and Skill Development Minister Shri Umashankar Gupta at a meeting of board of directors of Madhya Pradesh Council of Vocational Education and Training here today. Shri Gupta said that meeting of board of directors must be held quarterly on regular basis.
Shri Gupta directed to hold skill summit every 2 years. He said that institutes’ renewal should be done only after VTP inspection. He directed to prepare Aadhar Cards of trainees at VTP. Shri Gupta said that a panel of experts should be formed for inspection of ITIs and VTPs. He said that a portal regarding Skill Development Department should be evolved where all industries upload information about vacancies and desired trades so that arrangements should be made for training as per industries’ demand.
The meeting endorsed to rename posts of Additional Director, Joint Director and Deputy Director as Additional Executive Officer, Joint Executive Officer and DeputyExecutive Officer. Shri Gupta said that functioning should also be like corporate office with change in post’s name.
Shri Gupta said that report should also be taken from an officer, if he undertakes foreign visit regarding any scheme. he said that information should be regularly sought from other 24 departments covered under State Skill Development Mission about training being imparted by them. A separate officer should be deputed for this work.
