To Prevent Malvanchal from turning into Desert is also a Aim of Yatra

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that to prevent Malvanchal from turning into desert is also one of the aims of the Narmada Seva Yatra. He mentioned that Narmada water has been supplied to big cities of Malvanchal region. Maa Narmada is the reason for green agriculture fields of Dhar districts beside entire region. Shri Chouhan was addressing the Jan-Sanvad programme held at Bakaner of Dhar district today. Founder of Art of Living Sri Sri Ravishankar graced the occasion and lauded the formation of Anand Mantralaya in the state.

CM Shri Chouhan stated that Narmada River is the lifeline of the state, and it is impossible to think of life without it. He mentioned that conservation of Narmada water is responsibility of all. Public cooperation is must to make Narmada River free of pollution. He urged the people to cooperate for making Narmada river clean beside undertaking plantation to make its surrounding green. Shri Chouhan said that Narmada water will be provided in the entire state including Malwa. Over 30 percent land of the state will be irrigated by its water. Maa Narmada is the reason behind the agriculture growth rate of the state today which is over 20 percent . He further said that the State Government has a plan to provide Narmada water to all the urban areas through pipeline.

Moreover, Shri Chouhan said that plantation on wide scale will be carried out on forest and revenue land during the Yatra. He explained to the farmers that compensation of Rs. 20 thousand per hectare till 3 years and 40 percent subsidy will be provided if they undertake plantation at their land. Water treatment plants will be established, kunds for immersing poojan material and muktidhams for final funeral rites will be constructed on the banks of river Narmada. Also changing rooms for women will be constructed on the shores of Narmada river. Furthermore, liquor shops will be closed in the radius of 5 k.m. on both the northern and southern banks of Narmada River from march 31, 2017, he added.

Anand Mantralaya is Initiative to Make Heart Happy

Famous Saint and Founder of Art of Living Sri Sri Ravishankar who came to participate specially in ‘Namami Devi Narmade’-Seva Yatra said that the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has initiated a good step forming Anand Mantralaya in the state. Lauding Anand Mantralaya, he said that the Chief Minister has taken initiative to make hearts happy leaving aside materialistic approach.

Sri Sri Ravishankar said that there is a great tradition of conservation of water and land in Sanatan Dharm. Shri Chouhan has performed the same tradition by this yatra to conserve Maa Narmada. He told people present in the programme to plant 5 saplings each. Sri Sri Ravishankar said that work being undertaken in the state for the welfare of all is praiseworthy.

Lord Krishna for Yamuna and Shri Shivraj Become Medium to Make Narmada river Free from Pollution

Acharya Pundarik Goswami said that Lord Krishna had made Yamuna ji free from pollution of poison of Kalia Naag in Mathura. Similarly, Shri Chouhan has become medium to make Narmada River pollution free. Renowned Gandhivadi thinker Shri Subbarao said that freedom implies that citizens should be honest and virtuous, this is the true freedom. Prantiya Pracharak R.S.S. Shri Parag Abhyankar also expressed his views on the occasion.

Minister for Animal Husbandry Shri Antar Singh Arya, MP Smt. Savitri Thakur, Former Minister and MLA Smt. Ranjana Baghel, Shri Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, Shri Mathuralal and President Jila Panchayat Dhar Smt. Malti Mohan Patel were present on the occasion. Programme was conducted by the Chairman State Mineral Development Corporation Shri Shiv Choubey.

CM Holds Narmada Seva Yatra Flag

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan participated in Narmada Seva Yatra at Bakaner of Dhar district. He welcomed the Narmada Yatra’s flag offering flowers and performed pooja-archana of kalash. Later on he walked with the yatra holding flag. CM’s wife Smt. Sadhna Singh also walked with yatra holding kalash on her head. Tribals performing traditional folk dance were leading the yatra. Seva yatra was accorded warm reception showering flowers from place to place.
