Prepare housing schemes for weaker section : Chouhan

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed to chalk out housing schemes for weaker section. He was reviewing proposed housing schemes of Housing Department at Mantralaya here today.

It was informed at the meeting that new Housing Policy of Madhya Pradesh will be ready soon. It is being formed in consultation with concerning departments. As many as 1400 houses are being constructed for the poor at Bhopal and 1300 houses are proposed to be constructed at Jabalpur. Similarly, slum of Bagh Mughalia in Bhopal has been identified under Slum Rehabilitation Policy. This process is underway in other cities also.

Housing Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Chief Secretary Shri R. Parasuram, Principal Secretary Housing Shri Iqbal Singh Bains and other senior officers were present at the meeting.
