Sharma hoisted the National Flag and took salute in the Republic Day programme held at the Police Parade ground of Hoshangabad District Headquarters. He also recited a Republic Day
Message of the Chief Minister Kamal Nath on the occasion.
Sharma honoured freedom fighters by presenting them shawl and shriphal. On this occasion, he also presented prizes to the winners of march past, cultural programmes and tableau along
with the officers and employees for best works in the district .
The President of Jila Panchayat Kushal Patel, other Local Public Representatives, students and distinguished citizens were present at the programme.
