Power should not be cut in name of maintenance, be sensitive towards law & order situation: CM

Bhopal: Before leaving for South Africa, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a meeting with the Chief Secretary, DGP and senior officers at his residence here today and directed that power should not cut in the name of maintenance.
In view of summer, Shri Chouhan directed to immediately solve drinking water problem and transport water wherever necessary. He directed to tighten law & order arrangements. He directed to be very sensitive in cases of crimes against women and act promptly.
Talking to media at the state hangar before leaving for South Africa, the Chief Minister said that there are immense possibilities of increasing business and investment between South Africa and Madhya Pradesh. He said that unprecedented work has been done in South Africa in tourism, specially wildlife tourism. These will be studied in the context of Madhya Pradesh and their implementation as per conditions of the state will be considered. He said that Madhya Pradesh has immense potential of wildlife tourism. There are possibilities of further development of Madhya Pradesh’s National Parks and make their management more efficient. Meetings have been fixed in this regard with South African experts and investors.
The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh has immense investment potential. Investment potential has emerged with development in different sectors. He said that Madhya Pradesh is a fast-growing state with immense potential of investment. These possibilities will be discussed with investors who will be invited to Global Investors Summit to be held at Indore in October. A meeting with South African President is also scheduled. Discussions will also be held with Indian community in South Africa.
Shri Chouhan said that Mahatma Gandhi had learned use of weapons like satyagrah and non-violence in South Africa. He said that he will also visit Gandhi Ashram and Nelson Mandela’s burial place to pay tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela.
