PM Modi for Rebuilding India As Envisioned by Revolutionaries

Bhopal.   The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi exhorted the people to rebuild the nation as envisioned by revolutionaries. Launching the programmeYaad Karo Kurbani from Bhabra in Aalirajpur district – the birth place of Martyr Chandra Shekhar Azad today, he said that India is celebrating 75th year of Quit India Movement and 70 years of India’s independence.  This is an occasion to remember of martyrdom of revolutionaries, who made supreme sacrifice for the motherland. Shri Modi visited the birth place of Azad and paid tribute to him before addressing a huge public gathering.

Shri Modi said that India’s freedom is attributed to supreme sacrifice of patriots. He said that every citizen should take a pledge to realise the vision of revolutionaries. Paying tribute to the great martyr Chandra Shekhar Azad he also remembered Tantya Bheel, Bheema Nayak. He said that it is a great honour to visit the birth place of Azad at Bhabhra which is like a pilgrimage. This place inspires to work more dedicatedly for the nation.

The Prime Minister said the citizens of free India have got a chance to live for the country and its progress. Citing example of how India is transforming, Shri Modi said that even after 70 years of Independence more than 18 thousand villages could not see electricity. Within a year, more than 50 percent of them are having electricity. He said that though much has been done in last 70 years but expected progress could not be made. He said that every citizen should resolve to work for the country. At least ensures that all children receive education.

Referring to situation in Kashmir, he said that Humanity, the Spirit of Kashmir and Democracy are the three fundamentals. Today Kashmir is enjoying freedom due to the sacrifice of great patriots who made a supreme sacrifice. Kashmir needs to touch the pinnacle of development. The youth need to have jobs. Kashmir will have all the cooperation for development.

Shri Modi appreciated the Jammu and Kashmir Government for smooth conduct of Amarnath pilgrimage saying that Kashmir needs peace, unity and harmony.  He exhorted people to make Kashmir heaven on earth saying strongly that Humanity, the Spirit of Kashmir and Democracy would never allowed to be stained and path of democracy would always be pursued.  The Prime Minister asked those resorting to weapons instead of books, laptops what have been the gains after sacrifice of the innocent lives. He said that there are some whom development is not tolerable. They prefer the paths leading to destruction. He appreciated the political parties for expressing solidarity on the issue of Kashmir saying that the unique oneness is the real strength of India. He said that this is the right time for India to touch new horizons.

Referring to Tiranga Yatra, Shri Modi  said that the Tiranga unites the country and reminds the citizens of the sacrifices made by our martyrs.

Yaad Karo Kurbani will inspire youth – C.M. Shri Chouhan

The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the August 9 marks 75th year of the Quit India movement and Kakori Conspiracy. Remembering the great revolutionaries, he said that only one stream is taught in history while the role of revolutinaries is seldom mentioned. He thanked the Prime Minister for launching the Yaad Karo Kurbani in memory of thousands of known and unknown revolutionaries who died for the mother nation. This will fill the spirit of patriotism among the youth. He said that Shri Modi has shown the new path of India’s transformation and has inspired the citizens to live for the nation. He said that the places associated with he revolutionaries will be visited during the Tiranga Yatra to pay tribute to them.

Tiranga Yatra Launched

Shri Modi also flagged off Tiranga Yatra comprising 500 tribal youth. Earlier the Prime Minster was welcomed by the Chief Minister who offered him traditional turban. Memento portraying the spirit of freedom was also presented to the Prime Minister.

Minister for Animal Husbandry Shri Antar Singh Arya gave a welcome speech. The BJP State president Shri Nand Kumar Singh Chouhan, Minister for Culture Shri Surendra Patwa, Minister for School Education Kunwar Vijay Shah, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Shri Om Prakash Dhurvey, local MLAs and people in a large number were present. Minister of State for Cooperatives, Panchayat and Rural Development Shri Vishwas Sarang gave a vote of thanks.
