Over One Lakh Teachers to Be Recruited in State

During his tour to Sidhi district under Madhya Pradesh Banao programme, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced that over one lakh teachers will be recruited in the state, said an official release.

Addressing a conference of Women Self Help Groups at Tamsar Village, he said that development of the society depends on the upliftment of women.

The chief minister said that the state government is determined to give new heights to education at any cost and that vacancies of teachers in schools will be filled up.

Chouhan also announced to carry out construction of boundary walls of stadium, hostel and school building in Majhouli Village, to upgrade high school and also opening of new girls high school at the village.

On a complaint, he directed the district collector to investigate into the irregularities in mid-day meal scheme in Kamchadh Village.

He appealed the people to send their children to school without hesitation.

He said that the society’s development will depend only on the upliftment of the women and so the state government has introduced several schemes to empower them and 50 per cent seats in Panchayats and urban bodies have been reserved for women.

On this occasion Agriculture Minister Dr Ramkrishna Kusmaria, local MP Govind Mishra, other people’s representatives and officers were present.
