Other sports competitions should also be organized: Home Minister

BHOPAL: Home Minister Umashankar Gupta said that other sports competitions should also be organized beside cricket.

He said that women’s sports competitions should also be held along with men’s sports competitions.

He said this while inaugurating MLA Trophy Cricket Tournament by batting at Police Sports Ground in Nehru Nagar here on Wednesday. He said that sport person should play with good spirit.

In the competition sixteen teams from South-West Vidhan Sabha Constituency are participating. The player who performed will be selected and provided with assistance in order to improve their game.

The first match was played between Police Club and Organizing Committee teams.
