One More Dies of Swine Flu, Toll Reaches to 21 in MP

With demise of a 16-year-old girl due to swine flue in Indore, the death toll due to the pandemic has gone up to 21 in the state, reported PTI citing health officials.

Officials said that the girl, who hails from nearby Dewas district, tested positive for the H1NI virus and died at Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital yesterday, said report.

State Health Director Ashok Sharma said that 21 people have died of swine flu in the state so far, report said.

Sharma said that 15 people died of the fatal disease in Indore alone, while two each in Bhopal and Jabalpur and one each in Neemuch and Ujjain, report said.

Sharma said the state was having sufficient stock of medicine to treat swine flu patients, said report.
