On directive of Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh Licences of 92 drunken drivers suspended

Bhopal: Transport Department has suspended licences of 92 drunken drivers. The action has been taken on the directive of Transport Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh.
On the directives of the Minister for reducing road accidents in the state, the department had conducted a campaign from December 1, 2014 to January 25, 2015 to check vehicles and drivers. During the campaign, 92 drivers were found drunk while driving. The department suspended their licences.
Maximum 20 suspended driving licenses belong to Gwalior district, Indore 16, Jabalpur 8, Alirajpur and Dewas 7 each, Jhabua 6, Khargone and Ujjain 4 each, Mandsaur and Satna 3 each, Rewa, Seoni, Agar, Narsinghpur and Barwani 2 each and one licence each belongs to Singrauli, Bhind, Hoshangabad and Guna district.
