National Integration – Theme for Mrs. Gandhi’s Death Anniversary in MP

Bhopal  —  Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) will observe ‘National Integration Day’ across the state to mark the 25th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi on Saturday.

At 0830 hours, Congress state unit chief Suresh Pachouri will commence proceedings by paying a floral tribute to the departed leader at her statue at the GAD crossing on Sultania Road in the state capital.

At 1100 hours, a meeting will be held at the Congress Bhavan to pay tribute to Mrs. Gandhi, who was shot down by her security personnel on this day in 1984.
