MP Teachers Return to Work

Bhopal  —  Teaching staff at state-run universities and colleges in Madhya Pradesh resumed work on Friday, a day after the high court directed them to call off their indefinite strike and return to the classrooms.

The teachers had commenced the agitation on September 5 to press for higher wages maintaining that they would not resume work till the resolution of their demands.

Strike leaders now plan to file review petition before the high court.
