MoS for Public Health Shri Sharad Jain assumes office
Bhopal: Minister of State for Public Health and Medical Education Shri Sharad Jain assumed office in his chamber at Mantralaya today.
Holding discussions with departmental officers, Shri Jain informed that the Health Department has the responsibility for health care of people right from birth to old age. Shri Jain said that his first priority will be to extend quality health services to state’s people as per wish of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Shri Jain said that he laid foundation stone for Rs. 65 lakh AYUSH hospital at Jabalpur soon after he was assigned portfolio of Minister of State for Health. He informed that district AYUSH hospitals will be opened in 10 more districts.
Responding to greetings of officers and well wishers on the occasion, Minister of State Shri Jain said that he will always remain alert to discharge his duties effectively. Commissioner AYUSH Shri M.K. Varshney, Deputy Secretary Medical Education Shri S.S. Kumhare, well wishers, friends and journalists were present on the occasion.
