“Mhara Gaon Ma Aayi Narmada Mai Rai, Eka Paani Ka Hum Bachawan”

Bhopal. ‘Namami Devi Narmade’-Seva Yatra today reached village Jhumarkhali of Khandwa district after Narmada Aarti and Narmada Ashtak Paath. Yatra was welcomed by Minister for School Education Kunwar Vijay Shah and Minister of State for Medical Education (Independent Charge) Shri Sharad Jain. A grand reception was accorded to the yatra presenting traditional dance by the girls and boys of the village. All the villagers were engrossed in devotion and amusement as they are expressing gratitude towards Maa Narmada.

During the Jan-Sanvad held at village Sadiyapani, Kunwar Shah and Shri Jain informed about the objectives of ‘Namami Devi Narmade’Seva- yatra. They also administered pledge to the villagers for sanitation, de-addiction, environment conservation and water conservation.

A message through bhajan and dance was given by the girls and boys of the village like “Mhara Gaon Ma Aayi Narmada Mai Rai, Eka Paani Ka Hum Bachawan” and “Shivraj Singh ki yatra safal Banavjo”, which was creating the atmosphere delightful and was reflecting the feelings clearly towards conservation of Maa Narmada water.

School Education Minister Kunwar Shah and MoS Shri Jain were walking along with the yatra. Appeal was made by the Minister Duo to the villagers at every village for environment conservation and for de-addiction. Yatra was welcomed and yatris were served snacks by Muslim brothers and other organization at village Chhanera. Yatra reached its halt place village Charkheda covering Nishaniya Phata, Sadiyapani Sarkar, Chhanera and Saktapur. Yatra will proceed for Singaji village from here tomorrow.

CM Shri Chouhan to Participate in Yatra at Singaji on February 2

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will reach village Singaji on February 2 to participate in Narmada Seva Yatra’s Jan-Sanvad programme. As per the programme CM Shri Chouhan will proceed from Bhopal at 3.40 p.m. and will reach Singaji at 4.15 p.m. He will take night halt at Hanuwantiya.
