Medical University to Be Opened in Jabalpur: Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced to open Medical University at Jabalpur, said an official release.

Making the announcement while addressing a function after the review of construction work of inter-state bus terminal at Deendayal Chowk, the chief minister said that the local people have been demanding Medical University in the city for a long time.

He said that Jabalpur district was in need of a bus terminal with all modern facilities since very long time.

Chouhan said that the bus terminal is being constructed as per master plan of the city and the construction work will be completed within two years.

The bus terminal is spread over in an area of 16 acres of land and it will cost around Rs 20 crore.

The chief minister said that Jabalpur will not lack development and there will be no shortage of funds for development of the district.

On this occasion Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani, local Member of Parliament Rakesh Singh, Jabalpur Development Authority Chairman and Divisional Commissioner Prabhat Kumar Parashar, Chief Executive Officer of Jabalpur Development Authority Avadh Shrotriya, Chief Vaastu Coordinator Smt Swati Karve, Superintending Engineer TK Anand, Executive Engineer DS Mishra, people’s representatives and several dignitaries were present.
