Media Has Important Role in Realising Dream of Golden Madhya Pradesh: Sharma

Higher Education, Public Relations and Culture Minister Laxmikant Sharma has said that media has an important role to play in actualizing the dream of making a ‘Golden Madhya Pradesh’, said an official release.

The minister hoped that organizations of journalists would adopt a positive viewpoint about the state government’s policy-related decisions and promote mass awakening, release said.

He made the remarks while talking a group of journalists who made a courtesy call on him today.

During the meeting, senior journalist Ramgopal Sharma, who has recently been elected as the vice president of Indian Federation of Working Journalists, apprised Sharma of the activities of IFWJ and presented to him a special issue of ‘The Working Journalist’ to him, said release.

Madhya Pradesh Working Journalist Union’s general secretary Ajay Soni and Azam Khan were also present on the occasion.

The minister congratulated Ramgopal Sharma on being elected as the vice president of IFWJ.
