Make Maximum Good Utilisation of Jail Resources: CM
Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that proper security arrangements must be ensured. Make good and maximum utilization of the available resources. Shri Chouhan was reviewing the Jail Department here today.
Shri Chouhan said that proper security arrangements must be ensured in jails. Security norms should be strictly adhered. Efficient monitoring and constant vigilance procedure should be developed. Moreover, administrative arrangements should be rationalised. Shri Chouhan also deliberated to prepare proposal to shift jails located in densely populated areas to other areas and on need of high security- high tech jail in the state. He also directed the officials to explore possibility for construction of totally roof covered jail and anda cell.
Information regarding works undertaken to manage jails effectively was given in the meeting. Also action plan regarding technical security, organizational security and short and long term efforts of security force related to jail security was presented.
Minister for Jail Sushri Kusum Mehdele, Chief Secretary Shri B. P. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Home Shri K.K. Singh., Principal Secretary Jail Shri Vinod Semval, DGP Shri R.K. Shukla, Director General Jail Shri Sanjay Chowdhary, Principal Secretary to CM Shri Ashok Varnval and other Officers were present on the occasion.
