M.P. -South Africas Frees State Province To Foster Cooperation for Economic Progress

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Government and Free State province of South Africa today agreed to strengthen co-operation in socio-economic spheres. The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan on behalf of the state government and Premier Shri E.S. Magashule on behalf of Free State province of South Africa singed an MoU for this here today.
Madhya Pradesh and Free State province, according to MoU, will co-operate each other for economic progress in key areas of economic and urban development, infrastructure development, health and health care, education and skill development, tourism, agriculture, agri-business, food processing, investment and trade.
In accordance with the principles of equality and mutual benefit, both the states will support each other for peaceful progress. In case of any ambiguity regarding any issue or subject, amicable solutions will be arrived at through bilateral dialogues and discussions.
The Chief Minister held discussions on various aspects of mutual cooperation with the delegation members. It was agreed that experts in skill development will visit from Madhya Pradesh to the Free State province for sharing their knowledge with the interested persons there. Expenses of the visit and training fee etc. will be borne by the government of the Free State province.
It is worth noticing here that the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan recently visited South Africa where he met the Premier Shri E. S. Magashule. They had discussions about common interests in areas like tourism and industrial investments. Shri Chouhan had invited Shri Magashule to Madhya Pradesh.
Shri Magashule welcomed the Chief Minister and ministers present on the occasion in traditional manner and presented memento. Shri Chouhan hosted dinner in honour of Shri Magashule and delegation members.
Those present on the occasion included Minister for Commerce and Industries Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Minister for Urban Administration Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Minister for Food Kunwar Vijay Shah, Minister for Revenue Shri Rampal Singh, Minister of State for Narmada Valley Development Shri Lal Singh Arya, Director General of Police Shri Nandan Dubey and senior officers.
